This is a new and exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on California fisheries. The Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist) will serve as the lead project scientist for the Board’s efforts to establish and implement instream flow objectives in the Scott River and Shasta River watersheds. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 14th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
