About The Team
This is a part time position in Nowra, working with a highly experienced and knowledgeable Multidisciplinary team who strive for excellence each and every day. The team work together in a close knit environment and take a multi-disciplinary approach to therapy which has helped form an incredible bond among them, leading to a great culture forming over several years. We are integrated closely into the community and have developed amazing relationships with our families and local partners in the area. 75% of the client base is under the age of 14.
The team specialises in early intervention therapy, specifically within the cerebral palsy and disability space. We have 2 OT seating specialists on site and work with a highly varied and diverse caseload across the disciplines, ranging in age, diagnosis, complexity and needs. Our site tends to have a 50/50 split of onsite vs offsite appointments.
Community and home-based visits are based on clinical needs and goals.Some of the most desirable locations in all of NSW, if not Australia, all within a short 30min drive from the centre of town. Miles and miles of amazing coastline, forestry and national parks to explore. Easy access to the far south coast for those long weekend getaways. Extensive admin support to handle all those pesky chores on your behalf , and opportunity to work closely with the sister site in Wollongong. What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Evidence of current AHPRA registration or a willingness to attain it
- A current driver’s license.
- Working Holiday visa holders will be considered
