The role
As a member of the Business Development Team, reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Supporter Services and Programs Coordinator is the customer support liaison for donations and supporter programs.
As the administrator for our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system – Salesforce, you will support the Business development team and the wider business, driving database management, reporting, communication and campaign distribution.
- Primary contact for enquiries to the Business Development Team: action, resolve or forward enquiry.
- CRM Salesforce administrator for day-to-day and business as usual support.
- Collaborating with the business team on CRM support, requirements, and driving donor/supporter relationships to increase revenue and awareness of AWLQ services within both the community and businesses.
- Build quality relationships and grow supporter programs as the coordinator:
- Regular Giving Donation Program, provide support and recognition to our wonderful donors.
- Friends Forever Program, our adopted friends are welcome to discounts at our Community Vet Clinics and Rehoming Centres, you will assist their companion humans to access these benefits.
- Golden Hearts Program, a membership support program helping our 65yrs+ and their pets in our community, be part of something special.
- Community partnerships: source, engage, support, manage, maintain and grow relevant partnerships.
- Promote programs: undertake networking, presentations, public speaking and attend events to promote and raise awareness of support programs for people/in need and supporters.
- Assist the Business Development team with administration support.

Key criteria
- Commitment to the June 2024 to February 2025 fixed term.
- Tertiary qualification – Business Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with Salesforce CRM experience.
- Public speaking and facilitation with event management.
- Technological:
- Advanced Salesforce CRM skills
- Advanced Microsoft suite skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Drivers Licence required.
- Valid Police Check to be obtained.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience with not-for-profit organisations.
- Donor supporter services experience.
- Understanding of companion animal welfare needs in the community.
