Survey Aide

  • work primarily indoors but significant fieldwork will also be expected-work with local landowners to apply and maintain conservation practices.
  • Compute & plot engineering notes, prepare field sketches and drawings
  • Provide technical support to the conservation planners
  • Ability to work ourdoors in adversse conditions and walk long distance on uneven ground
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more in order to move tools, supplies and equipment
  • Must have valid drivers license and proof of insurance
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check as required by USDA
  • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Experience in ArcView and ArcGIS and survey equipment is helpful
