RWE Supply & Trading GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Human Resources division as a Teamlead Learning & Employee Experience. This role will be based in Essen or Swindon.

This position plays a vital role in professionalizing and innovating our employee experience journey from joining the company, continuous developing of skills to grow and move within the organization up to having a say when it comes to employee satisfaction. The individual will be part of the HR People & Organisational Development Team.

  • Managerial and functional responsibility for three employees based in Essen
  • Strategic and operational responsibility for the global (Europe, APAC and USA) learning and development portfolio “RWEST Academy” by considering business needs and strategic market trends
  • Support and spearing for additional locally specific learning and development requirements with the local development partners to be implemented locally
  • Design and implement self-directed learning formats supporting a continuous learning culture that helps employees to learn, grow, and reach their full potential
  • Researching, designing and evaluating target group specific and innovative training approaches
  • Ensure a state of the art joiner, mover, leaver process i.e. handling employees from the perspective of joining the organisation, moving departments/areas and leaving the organisation
  • Professionalize, digitalize and streamline the onboarding, cross-boarding and offboarding process
  • Design and implement ways to measure and assess engagement (surveys, pulse checks)
  • Watch out for enriching collaboration tools fostering access to streamlined communication and internal networks
  • Establish smart Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employee experience touchpoints to constantly monitor and optimize processes
  • Drive a digital mindset within the entire global HR team by data-intensive and intelligent technologies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Foster internal knowledge transfer, transparency and alignment on interface topics (e.g. close collaboration with all People & Organisational Development team members as sources for input on learning & development portfolio)

Your powerful skills

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in economics, human resources, international management or organisational psychology desirable
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic team lead role in a fast paced, delivery focused commercial environment, ideally on an international level
  • Good understanding and passion for digitalization and state of the art technical solutions
  • Ability to communicate with all levels including management and external parties, being able to build strong and sustainable relationships
  • Confident self-starter with excellent networking skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in development of learning strategies and concepts
  • Experience in end to end process management and streamlining
  • Proficiency in English (German is a plus) and international experience
  • Profound user skills in Office 365

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Qualtrics desirable
  • Experience of working in a trading or similar commercial environment
  • SCRUM Master, Change Management experience, agile transformation experience desirable
