Main purpose of job:
We are looking for a highly skilled and talented Creative Designer to create impactful digital and print materials for marketing and communication activities across the globe.
You will work in a highly skilled and creative team with a global creative network. This role will focus on delivering innovative and high-quality design assets for campaigns, events, social media and marketing efforts that showcase the UK’s business and trade expertise. The Creative Designer will collaborate closely with the Regional Creative Lead, with a dynamic team of marketing and communications specialists in the region and with the central creative teams in London.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects, including large-scale international campaigns, social media assets, event branding, videos, animations, and print collateral. This is an excellent position for a proactive designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a measurable impact.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve:
- Lead the creation of visually engaging designs across multiple platforms, including social media, print, digital, events, and out-of-home advertising.
- Collaborate with UK creative and production teams to produce high-quality creative solutions tailored to regional needs.
- Interpret briefs from UK production team and regional teams, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and design principles.
- Provide design support for major UK international campaigns in the region and around the globe.
- Create templates and reusable design assets to streamline creative processes for the regional team.
- Monitor the quality of outputs across Asia Pacific and maintain high design standards in all deliverables.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies relevant to the region.
- Collaborate with Creative Lead and the London-based creative team for project delivery.
- Liaise with external agencies when required for large-scale projects.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative projects across digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Experience in delivering projects from concept to final production.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of design principles.

Working patterns:
This is a full time role – 36 hours/week, Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 13:00
We are currently operating a hybrid working pattern with at least 60% of the time being spent in the office.
The Embassy has a smarter working policy and is committed to offering flexible working patterns balanced with the operational requirements of the role. In crisis/emergency situations you may need to work as required to support the Embassy response, sometimes on a shift pattern, which may result in unsociable hours and/or weekend working.
