  • Classification: SCHADS Level 4, with a salary range of $82,123- $88,367 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role

Neami National’s IPS Employment program supports recovery through open employment. With the support from the Employment Services Manager and the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) team, the Vocational Specialist will work in the context of the IPS model, supporting individuals working toward their individual employment goals. The principles of IPS are competitive employment, integration into mental health team, individual preferences, zero exclusion, rapid-job search, job development, benefits counselling, and time unlimited support.

The Vocational Specialist will deliver IPS employment supports to adults in partnership with a multidisciplinary team at a new Adult Mental Health Service in Darwin.

What you will bring to the role

  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • A valid Australian Driver’s License
  • National Police check
  • Experience working with people and building relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and oral
