Your Role
Your role as Casual Warehouse General Hand will involve assisting in the daily operation of the warehouse and perform tasks as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor. The role will perform manual tasks, hence, physical fitness is important to this role.
Your Responsibility
- Assist in various tasks: sorting stock, unloading donations from incoming trucks, assist at the Food Barn as needed, stocktake.
- Comply with all Work Health and Safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in housekeeping tasks e.g. rubbish removal etc.
- Undertake general warehouse duties under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.
You Will Need
- Experience within a warehouse facility
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks required of this position.
- Thorough knowledge of Manual Handling procedures.
- Ability to treat clients with respect and empathy; maintain confidentiality
- Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work with team members.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
