FREE BACKPACKING OPPORTUNITY!!!
The CCC Foundation Wilderness Program is offering free, introductory backpacking trips during Summer 2024. There is no experience required for these hikes. This year, we are offering affinity spaces for Women of Color and LGBTQIA2S+ Individuals.
The hikes will take place in a National Park or Forest in California. Participants will be given 2 days of training and orientation before setting off on a 5-day hike, guided by experts in the field. Participants will also be provided unique networking opportunities and ongoing mentorship beyond the program itself.
All gear will be provided and transportation costs will be reimbursed. Out of state applicants must fund their transportation to the state of California.
