Job Title: Health and Safety AdvisorLocation:North West England, Cheshire, MacclesfieldJob Type:Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Scientific and PharmaceuticalsSalary:£45,000.00 – £55,000.00 Per annumJob Duties:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Provide advice and guidance on health and safety regulations
• Deliver health and safety training to employees
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
• Keep up to date with changes in health and safety legislation

Required Qualifications:

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Proven experience working in a health and safety role
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations

Education:Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health and SafetyExperience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety advisory roleKnowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional site visits
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Travel may be required

Expected salary

£45000 – 55000 per year
