BHN is seeking a Support Coordinator to join our experienced Home Care Packages team. We offer very competitive pay and pride ourselves on being supportive, understanding and providing flexible work opportunities.
The Home Care Packages program supports people to continue to live independently in their home as they age. The Support Coordinator is a customer service and administrative role in the Home Care Packages team. Support Coordinators provide phone support to our clients and undertake a range of administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing client calls, requests and service changes
- Working closely with Care Advisors to coordinate services in clients homes
- Processing accounts and invoices to client budgets
- Ensuring end of month financial processes are completed accurately
- Providing administrative support to the Home Care Packages team
Essential attributes:
- Aged care accounting experience would be highly regarded for this position
- Experience in aged care or community health
- Ability to produce reports, including financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Compassion and desire to support older people
