Up to £32,000 Basic Salary + £40,000 OTEAbout Us:My client is a global manufacturer of state-of-the-art food processing equipment into the Food Processing sector. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to drive sales from their marketing efforts.The Role:As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, your role is to connect customer challenges with tailored product solutions. You will support marketing and field sales teams to identify new opportunities, generate appointments, and nurture leads through the pipeline. This office-based role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from CRM management and lead qualification to market research and reporting. You’ll be central to the success of ongoing campaigns and sales targets.What’s in it for you?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to identify needs and generate appointments
  • Work with field sales to build and maintain prospect account lists
  • Conduct market research to support targeted campaigns
  • Manage CRM and ERP systems to ensure accurate records
  • Coordinate telemarketing and email campaigns in specific sectors
  • Log enquiries, process leads, and ensure timely sales follow-up
  • Support marketing activity and senior executives with daily operations
  • Produce regular reports on lead generation and conversion performance
  • Build product knowledge across a technical portfolio

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a sales support, marketing, or telesales role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative in a structured environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and CRM tools
  • Familiarity with modern sales platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Interest in technical products or industrial applications (desirable)
