Senior Medical Writer – Medical Communications – Office based 2 x week working 9-5:30pm in central London, and WFH 3 days a week working US hours of 11-7:30pm.The CompanyIndependent, full service medical communications agency

• Provide strategic planning and tailored content development for their pharmaceutical clients
• Deliver creative and engaging multi-channel solutions at the global, regional and local level
• Projects include strategic communications, patient engagement, medical education and creative digital content execution.

The RoleOwnership and responsibility for the development and delivery of scientifically accurate content, aligned to client objectives, project budget and timelines.

• Coach, mentor and line manager junior writers providing opportunities to learn
• Projects may include disease education, product and competitor awareness, key trial data, key messaging and terminology.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss scientific and editorial aspects of the project
• Liaise with and brief KOLs
• This role is to work with the US team on US projects, although your manager will be in the UK.
• The US hours pattern is 3 days per week working 11am-7.30pm from home and 2 days per week working 9am-5.30pmfrom their London office.

YouSeveral years Medical Communications agency experience with a Biomedical Science degree.

• Solid understanding of the process of drug development and the regulations that drive this in the US and EU.
• High quality scientific writing, able to adapt content and style to suit different audiences
• Proven ability to coach junior writers, review content and provide constructive feedback ensure high quality standards and accuracy are consistently achieved
• Strong project management and organisational skills with a good understanding of the commercial drivers of the business.
